In the period  between 15^th to 18^th September 2015 Croatian expert Ms. Anita Pokrovac and Dutch expert Mr. Marc du Maine reviewed existing relevant documentation, including outputs of missions 1.3.1 & 1.3.2, documents from the TA project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacities for Approximation and Implementation of Environmental Legislation in the Area of Water Management” related to training delivery, and information on training opportunities available to environmental inspectors through EU and regional networks like IMPEL, ECENA and THEMIS. Main potential areas of overlap / interaction / joint activities with training activities and experts of other projects, countries and networks were discussed during the meeting with representatives of the TA project “Strengthening Capacities for Implementation of Environmental Legislation at Local Level” and of the Twinning Project “Strengthening the administrative capacities on central and local level for transposition and implementing new Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU”

A training curricula with focus on real-life application of EU inspection criteria (RMCEI), including actions within the lifetime of this Twinning project, and proposals for the long term after the end of the project was elaborated.

Comments on the current draft of the Law for Inspection on Environment were also provided.

Next steps & agenda for mission 2.1.6 (in particular the part devoted to training on inspection planning) were also discussed and defined with the RTA & RTA Counterpart.
