In the period between 19^th to 22^th of October 2015, Spanish expert Ms. Maria Jesús Mallada and Greek expert Ms. Dimitris Tsotsos reviewed relevant documentation, including the document “Inspection Plan, Check Lists and Guidelines” for waste management, developed in the project EuropeAid/128552/C/SER/MK “Strengthening the central and local level administrative capacities for implementation and enforcement of waste management legislation” to extract parts from it that will be used by the environmental inspectors in the form of useful info and a checklist.

A first draft of inspection check lists for the two waste streams, which will be part of the general environmental inspection manual, was prepared: (i) check list for waste oils, (ii) check list for end-of-life vehicles facilities. Finally review of the IMPEL Waste Watch tool was carried out, and updates in it incorporated.

Next steps, including the agenda for the follow-up mission 1.2.6 was discussed as well with RTA & RTA Counterpart.
