27.04.2015 | Mission 1.2.1: Analysis of existing documents used by environmental inspection authorities on both levels, and their updates

During the period 20th – 27th of April 2015 Polish expert Mr. Adam Nadolski and Dutch expert Mr. Rob Kramers reviewed existing documents, procedures, protocols, operational manuals, checklists, templates, guidelines, electronic tools for priority settings of inspections and case studies. Taking into consideration the existing gaps, benchmarks of the project and feedback from beneficiaries, the list of guides, check lists, templates, procedures and other materials which should be developed/updated within activities 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2 & 3.1 were also defined. Prepared report summarizes the existing written and electronic tools available for environmental inspectors, assessing gaps, and defining the list of updates/new tools to be developed within further activities, and if appropriate also after project´s implementation. You can download the Final assessment document below.

Work was started to define the contents of the general inspection manual to be developed within activity 1.2.

An additional meeting was held with IT experts developing the Business Process Management System for SEI, which was considered useful in order to coordinate the work implemented by them and the one carried out within the Twinning, notably the inspection manual.

The occasion of having Mr. Kramers, the Dutch Junior Partner Project Leader of the Twinning, was used to discuss together with the RTA & RTA Counterpart about how to optimize the calendar and contents of some of the activities of the project, and prepare the final version of the Inception Report.
