In the period 14th to 18th of March 2016 Spanish experts Mr. José Francisco Alonso Picón and Mr. Iñaki Bergareche within mission 1.3.5 provided 2 trainings, 2 days each, as follows:
- 15th – 16th of March: training in Bitola for inspectors and permit writers of Pelagonia & Southwestern regions on the sectors quarries/mines and breweries.
- 17th – 18th of March: training in Demir Kapija for inspectors and permit writers of Southeastern & Vardar regions on the sectors winery and pig & poultry.
Operators from installations belonging to those sectors participated as well, sharing their experience and participating in the discussions. The group included central and local environmental inspectors, as well as local permit writers.
For each of those sectors presentation and discussions took place on their usual processes, environmental impacts, relevant EU legislation, Best Available Techniques (BATs) to prevent pollution, reference documents available (factsheets and checklists delivered within this project, BREFs) and self monitoring requirements.
The 14th of March was used to prepare last arrangements for the 2 sessions delivered.
