Within the mission 2.2.3 held in the period between 6th to 10th July 2015 Croatian expert Ms. Anita Pokrovac reviewed draft outputs from missions 2.1.3 (draft of new Law for Inspection on Environment, key document that will establish the basis to implement environmental inspections in line with EU practices) & 2.2.2 (“Assessment of existing legislation & binding documents related to planning & reporting of environmental inspections. Proposals for updates.”) to ensure compliance with the RMCEI & IED-related criteria. You can download the coresponding report below.
In addition the document with proposals for improvement of the environmental inspection system in the Republic of Macedonia prepared in mission 1.1.5 was reviewed as well to ensure compliance with the RMCEI, TFS Regulation (EU) No 1013/2006 and 660/2014 & IED-related criteria. A need for alignment of SEI planning with MoEPP strategy was discussed with MoEPP staff in charge of strategy development.
Next steps & agenda for mission 2.2.4 on elaboration of tailor-made training curricula with the focus on the real-life application of the RMCEI, TFS Regulation (EU) No 1013/2006 and 660/2014 & art. 23 of IED were discussed as well with the RTA & RTA Counterpart.
