Discussion was held with IT experts of the Supply Contract designing the BPMS for SEI on potential areas of development of the software.
SEI’s BPMS’ assessment report, including a BPMS testing and implementation plan, and proposals of contents for next missions related to BPMS and software to support the work of inspectors was finalised, even though it may be subject to some updates as the BPMS has not yet been really fed with inspection processes and tested by inspectors.
The relevant parts of the Inspection Manual being developed within activity 1.2, to ensure compatibility with SEI’s BPMS and useful cross-referencing, were reviewed.
The key steps in the implementation of the BPMS software used by environmental inspection authorities in Poland and Croatia, highlighting good practices and lessons learnt during the process of their creation and subsequent maintenance and upgrading were discussed with the RTA and the RTA Counterpart.
During the mission a meeting with representatives of the Inspection Council related to the project EuropeAid/136671/IH/SER/MK “Public Administration Reforms and E-Government” was arranged in order to exchange information about the project, and agreeing on continuing communication on this topic as well to get their ideas about the final E-Inspectorate software to be delivered as main framework for the work of all Macedonian Inspectorates, and as a function of that to provide useful suggestions.
